Broker Operations Data Quality Analyst
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Broker Operations Data Quality Analyst. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy, quality, and compliance of broker data using your advanced experience with Excel, SQL, and Python. You will also be responsible for auditing, establishing metrics and dashboards, and maintaining a high standard of data integrity in alignment with industry regulations and internal policies.Responsibilities: Conduct thorough analysis of brokerage data to identify inconsistencies, errors, and discrepancies in compliance-related information. Collaborate with various teams to rectify data inaccuracies and ensure compliance with industry regulations, internal policies, and legal standards. Validate data accuracy by comparing and cross-referencing data from numerous sources. Execute data cleansing procedures to eliminate redundancies, inaccuracies, and outdated information. Monitor data to ensure compliance with industry regulations, internal policies, and legal standards. Collaborate with compliance teams to address potential compliance issues and rectify deviations. Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on data quality, compliance performance, and identified issues. Maintain detailed documentation of data validation processes and findings. Create dashboards to display data related to KPIs and department metrics. Continuously assess data quality processes, identifying areas for improvement, automation and efficiency enhancements. Provide training and guidance to team members and end-users on data quality best practices. Promote a culture of data accuracy and compliance awareness.Requirements Proficiency in Documentation, ensuring all operational procedures and practices are well documented Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting Experience in Training team members on operational procedures and best practices Strong background in Operations, particularly in the brokerage sector Understanding of Compliance and Regulation in the brokerage industry Proven experience in Quality Auditing to ensure compliance with regulations and operational procedures Familiarity with Practices and Procedures in a brokerage environment Proficiency in Metric Reporting and KPI Reporting to track operational performance Excellent Communication Skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration and decision-making Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis and creating dashboards Experience in identifying and rectifying any Discrepancy in data quality Familiarity with Monitoring Tools for tracking data quality Strong Collaboration skills to work effectively with different teams and stakeholders Knowledge of Best Practices in data quality management in the brokerage industry Experience in Compliance Functions and Ensuring Compliance in a brokerage environment Proficiency in Sourcing data from different systems and ensuring its quality Strong Decision-Making skills for effective data quality management Experience in Creating Dashboards for effective data visualization and reporting.
