Description Vascular Surgery Opportunity in Danbury, Connecticut (Fairfield County, 60 miles from New York City)Danbury Hospital, located about 60 miles northeast of New York City in suburban Fairfield County and near the border of Westchester County in New York, is seeking a 3rd vascular surgeon interested in joining a growing hospital network. We have a free standing 6 year general surgical residency which includes a year of research. Teaching medical students and residents is an important part of the program. Our group enjoys state of the art hybrid ORs, dedicated block time, and an excellent OR support staff. A very busy vascular lab, the only IAC accredited vein center in the state, and an office based lab are also part of the practice. There is also the opportunity for translational and basic science research.The ideal candidate will be board certified/eligible in Vascular Surgery and looking to join a long established, busy practice and collegial team. We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including base salary plus incentives and allowances for CMEs and Dues.
