Inspector - Packing
DescriptionThis position will be responsible for inspecting the finished product for conformance to established standards and packing it in corrugated shipping cases.Essential Functions
Stand at the delivery end of the machine and receive counted units of product.
Perform established set of periodic inspections of the finished product for adherence to standards.
Notify the machine operator of any definite or potential non-conformance issues.
Continuously lift 14 lbs of finished product and place in a corrugated shipping case.
Assist the operator assistant assemble and label corrugated shipping cases.
Assist the machine operator in maintaining a clean and safe work area and comply with all company safety policies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Must have the ability to work overtime as needed, including Saturdays and holidays.
Ability to stand in one area for periods of up to 60 minutes.
Ability to lift 14 lbs continuously and up to 30 lbs occasionally.
Must adhere to company policies, safety rules and regulations, wear PPE
