Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead and oversee our commercial kitchen operations for a business that specializes in pre-order online meal services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for maintaining high food safety and quality standards in a fast-paced, order-driven environment.
Duties
Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate daily kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
Manage food production processes, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining appropriate stock levels.
Implement and maintain food safety and sanitation practices in compliance with health regulations.
Develop menus in collaboration with chefs, focusing on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Handle cash management responsibilities, including tracking sales and managing budgets effectively.
Monitor food costs and labor expenses to ensure profitability while maintaining quality standards.
Address customer feedback promptly to enhance overall dining experience.
Qualifications
Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management, preferably in a kitchen setting.
Strong knowledge of food handling practices, safety regulations, and sanitation standards.
Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse group of individuals.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience in shift management or supervising kitchen staff is highly desirable.
Must be bilingual in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus
