Maintenance Manager for Apartment Community

Benchmark Management is currently accepting applications for SERVICE (Maintenance) MANAGER candidates at our professionally managed apartment community in Ypsilanti.
Our Service Managers are a vital part of our onsite management team and are responsible for maintaining physical condition of apartment community. Service Managers perform maintenance operations and lead/train/mentor the onsite maintenance team.
The successful candidate will be a High School Graduate (or equivalent), have a minimum of 3 years maintenance or skilled trade experience, working knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing and carpentry and working knowledge of HVAC systems and various appliances. (HVAC certification)
Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds for a limited distance on occasion, complete tasks up to 2nd story of building exteriors and be able to complete tasks in all apartment homes regardless of location. Saturdays and on-call rotation required.
