Accounting Clerk
Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in the Real Estate - Sales & Lease industry, specifically situated in San Diego, California, 92127, United States. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be tasked with maintaining financial records, processing invoices, and dealing with account-related inquiries. Your role will involve data entry tasks, account reconciliation, and ensuring all financial records are kept up to date and accurate.Responsibilities: Accurately and efficiently process invoices on a daily basis Maintain precise records in relation to Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Handle account-related inquiries and resolve them in a timely manner Perform account reconciliation tasks to ensure all financial data is accurate Use software tools such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for data entry and invoice processing Monitor customer accounts and undertake appropriate action when necessary Ensure all financial data is accurately entered and maintained in the system Assist with billing procedures and ensure they are carried out efficiently Maintain customer credit records with utmost accuracy Conduct routine checks to ensure all financial records are updated Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records. Experience with Accounts Payable (AP), managing outgoing payments and resolving any related issues. Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR), tracking incoming payments and addressing any discrepancies. Capable of handling Billing duties, including creating and issuing invoices, tracking payments, and resolving any billing errors. Skilled in Data Entry, with the ability to input, update, and maintain accurate financial information. Experience in Invoice Processing, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all invoices. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create, update, and manage complex spreadsheets and financial reports. Familiarity with Oracle, with the ability to use this software for various accounting tasks. Proficiency in QuickBooks, with the ability to manage all accounting functions within this software. Experience with SAP, with the ability to use this software for various accounting tasks.
