Job Summary

This is a seasonal role pending review in 90 days with potential opportunities for continued work based on company needs. We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional individual to join our team working as a Front Desk Receptionist on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. This role is ideal for individuals with excellent customer service, are comfortable working with computers, have experience working independently, possess a willingness to learn, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, energetic setting. While experience in the aviation industry is greatly valued, we are also open to candidates who have a foundational knowledge of aviation or flight training and are eager to grow in this sector.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for the company, embodying professionalism and a welcoming demeanor.

Handle customer inquiries with efficiency and accuracy, ensuring a high level of customer service.

Manage communication through phone calls and emails, providing information on flight operations and training programs.

Process payments and assist with billing inquiries, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

Organize and maintain customer and student records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Collaborate closely with the Flight School Manager and support flight instructors in the operational aspects and scheduling of students.

Utilize scheduling software for updating and creating reservations, demonstrating proficiency in technology.

Occasionally, oversee the operation of the PSI testing facility, ensuring smooth administration and compliance.

Required Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Proactive and eager to learn.

Knowledge of aviation or flight training is required

Remuneration and Benefits: This is a part time position starting at 24 hours weekly at $16-18/hour DOE. Employees are eligible for $20 off hourly aircraft rentals with Blue River Aviation.
