The Odom Corporation is currently hiring Full-Time Night Warehouse Workers in our Beer/Wine/Spirits Division.
Responsible for receiving, stocking, and pulling products for customer orders, all in a timely and accurate manner. This position works under minimal to direct supervision to ensure accurate and timely work is being performed to meet best the customers' needs and the departmental goals for the overall company goals. Helps to ensure a safe and clean work environment by following the company's safety and proper house cleaning policies and procedures.
- Daily loads or unloads delivery trucks. Product location can be either the cooler or warehouse floor, depending upon SKU's location.
- Reads and efficiently works the customer's pick sheets to accurately determine items to be gathered, palletized, and distributed.
- Ability to obtain and maintain case picks per hour and accuracy goals as assigned.
- Examines stock to verify conformance to quality specifications and takes pride in products being distributed.
- Stocks products accordingly to the SKU's location within the warehouse.
- Keeps all locations neat, organized, and straightened.
- Fills orders or issues supplies from stock with care, concern, and diligence.
- Assembles customer orders from stock and builds orders on pallets effectively and safely for successful delivery.
- Accurately documents the amount of products or items received or distributed or set aside due to damage or "out-of-date."
- Drives or operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand carts to transport products all in a safe mannerism.
- Participates and receives training certificate for proper & safe operation of forklifts and pallet jacks.
Helps clean up all warehouse areas during shift by sweeping, discarding the trash, and emptying boxes before the end of the shift.
- Participates in weekly, monthly, or annual inventory cycles to count appropriate SKUs.
- All Odom employees must safely perform their job duties to themselves
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prefer working knowledge of warehousing, forklift and pallet jack operations, pallet building, and inventory procedures.
- This position requires regular and constant lifting/moving/pulling, or pushing of 27-55 pounds.
