Employment Type:Part timeShift:Night ShiftDescription:Our team at our 100 bed Level III Trauma Center in Nampa, Idaho, is looking for a new member to join the team as a Rapid Response Nurse! Situated at the crossroads of I-84 and Garrity Boulevard, our Medical Center blends critical care with a balanced lifestyle. If you thrive on sharing your knowledge and enjoy teaching and supporting others, this position is made for you.A day in the life of a Rapid Response RN can look like :

Responds immediately to all Code Blues and Rapid Response Team (RRT) calls/pages

Responds promptly to all Time Sensitive Emergencies (TSEs), including Brain Attacks, STEMI, Code Sepsis, Code Critical, and high-priority traumas

Assists with critical care patients held in the Emergency Department

Provides nursing consultation for severe sepsis alerts and consults

Screens for and provides consults for high-risk patients

Follows up on previous RRT calls and assists with critical care admissions needing additional resources

Prioritizes and performs other tasks as needed

Completes tasks and assignments delegated by leadership

Minimum Qualifications:

You currently hold an Idaho or multistate RN license

If you have a multistate license you would need to establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 6 months of hire

You have your Advance Cardiovascular Life Support for HealthCare Provider

You are willing to obtain your Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire

You would have at least a year of experience in a critical care setting but ideally would have at least two years

You may also hold your ECCO certification but, if not, it may also be something you are eager to obtain
