Busy American Steak & Burger House is looking for an experienced Maitre D'

MUST BE AVAILABLE SATURDAY TO TUESDAY. 4 SHIFTS: 4:30PM to 10:30PM

Key Responsibilities:

Manage reservations and seating plans to ensure service is run efficiently while maximizing seating/capacity/revenue

Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome and ensure that they feel valued and appreciated.

Answer phones in professional matters and answer be able to answer all questions confidently regarding all restaurant matters (reservations, events, food, ect)

Manage reservations and ensure that they are properly recorded and organized in accordance with the restaurant’s policies.

Oversee the dining room to ensure that service runs smoothly and guests are receiving excellent service.

Collaborate with other restaurant staff to maintain a cohesive and efficient operation.

Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally, resolving issues to the guest’s satisfaction.

Maintain a clean and organized dining room and ensure that tables are properly set and maintained.

Qualifications:

At least 2 years experience at high volume restaurant with expert knowledge of OPENTABLE system and excellent ability to map tables and plan for the night.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create a welcoming and positive environment for guests and staff.

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage reservations and seating in a fast-paced environment.

Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team of waitstaff and other restaurant personnel.

A passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service to guests.
