Database Architect IIILocation: Nashville, TNContract to possible hire – 11/02/21 to 5/01/20W2 Candidates only This role is being looked at as a possible CTH (contract to hire). This role will be remote only during the stay at home orders and restrictions. Once normal, in-office business resumes, this person will be expected to be onsite in the Nashville office (remote days may be negotiable at a later date but they will need to be onsite as well).The team may be open to non-local candidates only if they are willing to relocate at their own expense. Please list your location in the submittal notes.Please also use the submittal notes to highlight why your a fit and what type of work you have done that makes you stand out for this role.Description: Minimum of 7+ years experience in Data Architecture where majority of career has been spent as a Data Architect.Responsible for the conceptual, logical data modeling and physical design, and database implementation.Responsible for designing and implementing secure access, storage, and management of the databases being built.Working with the Delivery Manager will be responsible for the data delivery roadmap.Will be able to provide technical drawings and documentation associated with database implementation.Will be competent in utilizing various data modeling, management, and development tools associated with database design and implementation likeSSMS, Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake Storage , Azure Data Bricks Polybase, Azure Data Factory V2 (would like all of these if possible).Has experience with migrating on-prem SQL Server databases to a Microsoft Azure architecture (this is a must).May also manage others within the functional teams/units of the database organization.
