DLC plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the well-being of residents in various healthcare settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospitals, and more. By issuing licenses, conducting inspections and surveys, and enforcing regulatory standards, DLC works to maintain and enhance the standards of care provided by healthcare facilities. Moreover, DLC's certification responsibilities enable healthcare providers to participate in critical federal programs like Medicare and Medicaid, facilitating access to healthcare services for eligible individuals.Job Summary: DLC is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to lead the development and implementation of biometrics (fingerprinting) into our Maine Background Check Program. This critical professional role will involve overseeing all aspects of the project, from planning and execution to monitoring and delivery. The Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure the successful development and deployment of this licensing initiative.Qualifications: The background of well-qualified candidates will demonstrate expertise in the following areas:

Degree in project management and 4 years of proven experience in development or project management, including successful project delivery.

Strong understanding of project management and/or process improvement methodologies.

Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Experience managing complex development projects from initiation to completion.

Familiarity with healthcare-related software systems and regulatory requirements (preferred).

Project management certification (e.g., PMP, ScrumMaster, Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt) a plus.

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

The pay rate for this position is negotiable, commensurate with experience.Location and Timing: The position is based in Augusta, Maine. Remote work and telework are options, subject to an agreement and in-person availability for certain key meetings and events. Limited in-state travel may be necessary for stakeholder engagement. The position is a limited-term contract position expected to last through June 2025 with a possibility of extension.Compensation for roles at Staffing Solutions Organization LLC (SSO) varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
