Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential properties (Willing to train for right candidate with limited or no experience). The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of property management laws, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This role requires effective conflict management abilities and familiarity with various housing programs, including LIHTC and Section 8.
Duties
Manage all aspects of property operations, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
Oversee tenant relations, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts in a timely manner.
Coordinate property maintenance and repairs through the use of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
Implement effective customer relationship management strategies to enhance tenant satisfaction.
Maintain accurate administrative records, including leases, tenant applications, and maintenance requests.
Collaborate with vendors and contractors for facility management services.
Provide guidance on legal matters related to property management, including lease agreements and eviction processes.
Develop and manage budgets for property operations while ensuring financial objectives are met.
Must have ability to lift 25 pounds and actively move around properties.
Ability to use computers proficiently.
Ability to make and receive calls.
Ability to drive 1-2 hours
Qualifications
Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
Strong knowledge of conflict management techniques and customer service principles.
Familiarity with LIHTC regulations, Section 8 housing programs, and relevant laws governing property management.
Excellent administrative skills with proficiency in CMMS software.
Strong phone etiquette and communication skills for effective interaction with tenants and vendors.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
