Delivery Driver POSITION SUMMARY: The Delivery Driver is responsible for pulling, packing, and delivering all of the products from a central location (22 Wolf St.) and taking them to Federal Donuts & Chicken locations throughout the city and suburbs based on the needs of each store. You will be driving Federal Donuts' vehicles and play an important role for each store's daily success. Experience driving a box truck and Sprinter van is required. Hours are roughly 4am - 9am.One Weekend day is required, both days are a plus.PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential Functions: Drives company/client vehicles to and from destinations in a safe manner Responsible for the transport and loading/unloading of equipment and/or products on a daily basis Report necessary maintenance or repairs on equipment and vehicles to management in a timely manner Perform all job duties in a safe manner by adhering to all driving regulations, road signs, and company safety policies and procedures Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager Food Service Experiencepreferred QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a valid driver’s license Previous experience as a driver preferred Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Must have the ability to work independently with limited supervision Requires continuous lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 lbs.
