Landscape Production Manager
The Landscape Production Manager (LPM) must be thoroughly familiar with and able to perform all aspects of landscape and irrigation construction to include: estimating, production, scheduling, customer service, training, etc. The LPM directly oversees Crew Leaders and their daily landscape maintenance schedule/projects while interfacing with clients, subs and suppliers.
Experience required:
a. Minimum 3 years of experience in landscape & irrigation
b. Able to supervise three or more crews simultaneously
c. Able to train field crew members
d. Possess a valid driver’s license and must be insurable on company’s policy
e. Possess computer skills
f. Proficient in both oral and written communications.
g. Bilingual in English & Spanish
h. Able to represent the company in a courteous and professional manner
Responsibilities:
i. Oversee 20 -26 community’s monthly landscape maintenance
j. Ensures company processes/standards are met
k. Continually coordinate with Crew Leaders on communities
l. Continually inform & update office on community’s condition
m. Ensure communities are on schedule and within budget
n. Ensure all safety procedures are followed and report any unsafe conditions as necessary
o. Looks for additional work needed in the community and bring to manager’s attention thru verbal or written communication (estimate)
p. Ensures all equipment is operated in a safe & proper manner
q. Ensures all equipment is maintained properly and preventatively maintained daily
r. Ensures all timesheets, paperwork is turned in weekly
s. Evaluates equipment utilization and recommends future purchases to the office
t. Assists in the development and implementation of the production part of company’s training goals
u. Develops training plan & trains field crews
v. Evaluates performance of Crew Leads and members
Salary DOE
45 hours per week Monday - Friday; occasional Saturday
