Office Clerk - Seasonal
JOB SUMMARY: This position will be working with our administration team during our harvest season in Turlock. Assist the and processing documentation related to farm payroll, recruitment, layoffs and safety.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Process applications and new/rehire packets including W4 & I9 paperwork
Compile Time-In-Attendance for weekly payroll processing.
Assist with distribution of payroll checks.
Assist with monthly reporting as needed.
Prepare end of season reports for bonus and payroll payout.
Assist other farm locations with Admin. duties during harvest or as needed.
Maintain site Inventory Log and work with accounting department to resolve discrepancies.
Work with Accounts Payable to order all supplies needed.
Answer the telephone and assist walk-ins.
Assist and document all safety related activity (meetings, First Aid, Injury/Illness).
Ensure safety rules, guidelines and procedures are communicated to farm management.
Performs other duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have oral communication skills in English or Spanish.
Working knowledge of computers, phones, fax machines, printer/copies and excel program
Be a self-starter and can work in a fast-paced environment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to work up to 10-hour days
Sit/stand for long periods of time
Ability to pull/push/reach/bend
