JAG Career Coach Manager
Lead the JAG (Jobs for America’s Graduates) team to ensure that all performance requirements are met, including adherence to policies/procedures.
Explains and interprets regulations, policies, and procedures for staff.
Handles "daily" supervision of assigned case managers and their workloads/schedules, including performance management.
Resolves problems encountered during daily operations and determines appropriate solutions.
Monitors work activity on caseloads to ensure that cases are clearly and thoroughly documented.
Provides work instruction and assists employees with difficult and/or unusual assignments.
Assists with data requests and performs analysis on current demographics and outcomes.
Supports quality assurance activities and the growth of assigned case managers.
Facilitate meetings with staff.
Coordinate training activities to ensure that all JAG staff are properly trained to implement project activities effectively.
Complete Coordinator reports each month accountable for all data timeliness and accuracy.
Attend quarterly Coordinator and JAG Manager meetings and State JAG Training.
Monitors and maintains program and participants data and records including graduation rates, positive outcome rates, employment rates, postsecondary rates, full-time jobs, and placement rates.
Ensure that all model services and follow-ups are completed each month.
Assists JAG Specialists in developing classroom lesson plans incorporating the JAG curriculums along with supplemental materials, activities, and guest speakers to ensure students achieve specific JAG competencies.
Formulate and implement outreach activities to recruit and assists in identifying and selecting those students who would benefit from participation in the JAG program and works with school counselors to ensure required numbers are scheduled into JAG classes.
Assist JAG Specialists in providing case management services, guidance, support, tutoring, and referral to other community partners when appropriate, to ensure students stay in high school and complete graduation requirements.
Performs additional duties as assigned
