In this position, you will help analyze work plans to confirm that the program is well-balanced and that the necessary labor, materials, equipment, and funds are available for completion. You will also review and analyze data from the SAP Plant Maintenance and Roadway Management Systems to ensure that program objectives are met and overall system control is upheld, focusing on tasks like bridge flushes, seal coating, and crack sealing. Your role includes monitoring work data through reports to track production units, man-hours, equipment use, and material consumption, addressing any discrepancies that arise. Additionally, you will review work data to ensure compliance with Maintenance Accreditation Performance Index (MAPI) standards and suggest improvements for the organization. You will assist in managing materials within the SAP Plant Maintenance and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) Systems, overseeing the purchase, receipt, storage, and distribution of bulk materials and garage items to ensure resource availability and efficiency. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining inventory records per Department policy, ensuring proper inventory control methods are followed, and completing goods receipt entries in SAP for bulk materials from vendors. Furthermore, you will support the development and implementation of the county's salt management plan and analyze spreader data to ensure compliance with Department policies on spreading formulas, as well as conduct stockpile reviews to verify that system inventory matches actual quantities on hand.Interested in learning more? Work hours are 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:One year of experience as a Technical Assistant; or
One year of experience in analysis of data utilized in planning and scheduling of work, materials and equipment and graduation from high school or GED equivalent; or
An Associate's Degree in a field of Business Administration, Computer Science, Highway Engineering Technology or other closely related program; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
