The primary role will be to manage and execute accounting tasks related to residential properties, with a strong focus on functions such as cash activity, account reconciliation, bank reconciliations, and journal entries. This role is integral to the preparation of financial statements and conducting variance analysis, especially during the month-end close.Responsibilities: Manage and execute day-to-day accounting functions related to portfolio of properties Conduct cash activity analysis and provide detailed reports Perform account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance Conduct bank reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy Record and maintain journal entries for transactions Manage month-end close procedures, including the preparation of financial statements Conduct variance analysis to identify differences between budgeted and actual figures Develop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met Resolve accounting discrepancies with a thorough review of financial records.If you are interested in learning more about this role, please email your resume to Brittany Rizzo at Brittany.Rizzo@roberthalf.co. and reference BR0013132387 in the subject line.Requirements Proficiency in accounting functions, including but not limited to, account reconciliation, and journal entries Experience in handling cash activity and bank reconciliations Ability to prepare financial statements and provide variance analysis Experience with month-end close procedures Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and draw conclusions Excellent communication skills for presenting financial information High attention to detail and accuracy in all work Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Prior experience in a property accountant role is preferred Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
