Description We are on the lookout for a meticulous Accountant to join our team in the manufacturing industry, located in Knoxville, Tennessee. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial health of our company by administering accounting operations to meet legal requirements. You will be entrusted with the responsibility of managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing checks, and supporting the Controller with special projects.Responsibilities: Oversee the accurate and efficient processing of accounts payable and receivable Conduct bank reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy Prepare and post payments to maintain a smooth cash flow Execute month-end close procedures and create journal entries Conduct balance sheet reconciliations Support the Controller with special projects to improve the financial operation of the company Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting Operate Oracle for various accounting tasks Produce cash flow forecasts to assist in financial planning Maintain the general ledger to ensure the accuracy of accounting data.For immediate consideration please contact Lisa Coker at 865-370-2084 to set up an interviewRequirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation Experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation Capability to handle Bank Reconciliations Familiarity with General Ledger maintenance Proficient in Journal Entries Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience with Month End Close procedures Knowledge of Oracle financial software Ability to manage Accounts Payable (AP) Experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) Proficiency in Posting Payments Experience conducting Check Runs Ability to generate Cash Flow Forecasts Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
