Live In Caregiver, $750/month & Private Apartment/Expenses Covered

We are looking for a live-in-caregiver to provide daily assistance to my mom who is in her mid-70s. She needs assistance with all ADLs - meal prep, taking blood pressure, medication reminders, bathing, dressing, toileting, and transfers (to/from wheelchair, bed, and toilet). She has significant weakness on one side from a prior stroke. Caregiver must be physically capable of safely transferring an approx. 140 lb woman w/ gait belt. Position is to assist her in her personal residence throughout the day, provide companionship, and transport/accompany her to/from appointments as needed (physical therapy, nails, hair, family events, etc.). Private 1:1 care. Because of the personal nature of the job (toileting/bathing), female applicants only.

$750/month in pay, private apartment, and living expenses covered. This is a LIVE IN position where Caregiver will be provided an on-site private furnished apartment for full-time living. Schedules and hours will be distributed between a total of three caregivers. This position will be responsible for covering approx. 1-1.5 days per week. Supervising my mom approx. 1 day/week (my mom’s awake hours, with evening on-call). On-call hours consist of monitoring my mom via baby monitor and assisting her as needed. Remaining hours reserved for errands and grocery shopping, as needed. Position is in central Scottsdale. On-site private furnished apartment is being constructed, estimated completion in early 2025. See included photo of floorplan. Temporary housing (Air BnB or Extended Stay) to be provided during construction following a 2-week trial period.

Pay/Compensation

- Compensation package consisting of:

- $750/month in pay as W2 employee, paid as weekly salary

- PTO and sick time

- Living expenses (tax-free) covered including:

Private fully furnished apartment (Central Scottsdale) with private entrance, kitchen, and washer/dryer in unit. Please no pets.

Utilities included/paid (electric, water/sewer/trash, internet, streaming TV)

Supplied groceries/household supplies for Caregiver’s personal use (large on-site area stocked with a variety of items, see included photos – only partially stocked in photos)

Job Requirements:

- Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record

- Must have ability to pass background check and screen for illegal drugs

- Must be legally authorized to work in the USA

- Must be ok with friendly dogs

- Must have prior caregiver experience

- Must be reliable, dependable and on time

- Ability to use sound judgement and remain calm in a variety of situations

- Must have reliable vehicle

- Must be able to safely transfer an approx. 140 lb woman with a gait belt.
