Shipping & Receiving Clerk
TITLE:  Shipping & Receiving Clerk LOCATION:  Phoenix, AZ RESPONSIBILITIES:Process all incoming and outgoing shipments at the data center site.Receive incoming shipments and freight, verifying contents against purchase orders and packing slips.Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and prooing shipping documents.Utilize computerized systems to track shipments and maintain inventory records.Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries related to shipping status and delivery.Operate phone systems to communicate with vendors, customers, and internal departments effectively.Collaborate with Ascent and client team members to optimize shipping/receiving workflow within the site.Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklift, and reach trucks to load and unload goods safely.Reports and assists with escalation duties related to major problems impacting business and reports all atypical situations to management.Ensures all established policies and procedures are maintained and followed.Makes decisions with an understanding of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve desired results.Ensures work, assignments and projects successfully meets assigned deadlines.Additional duties as assigned.
