job detailsjob summary:A Senior Electrical Engineer is needed for a biomedical/biotechnology engineering firm and multinational manufacturer of medical devices in the Arden Hills, MN area. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, this will develop, test, and integrate innovative electrical hardware for advanced urology solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing suppliers, and ensuring compliance in a regulated environment.location: Arden Hills, Minnesotajob type: Contractsalary: $59.45 - 75.91 per hourwork hours: 8am to 4pmeducation: Bachelorsresponsibilities:

Develop, integrate, and test electrical hardware for capital systems and ureteroscopes.

Collaborate with cross-functional experts to solve complex engineering and business challenges.

Translate technical results into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.

Manage third-party designers and suppliers to ensure project success.

Design electrical systems and specify electrical components.

Ensure compliance with quality standards and maintain adherence to regulations throughout all work.

Skills:

Proficiency with lab equipment (power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal/spectrum/logic analyzers).

strong understanding of circuit theory and semiconductor physics.

Familiarity with standards such as IEC 60601 (preferred).

Self-starter with a proactive approach to ambiguous challenges.

Skilled problem solver with experience in methodologies like Shainin or DOE (preferred).

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (required).

3-5 years in electrical hardware development, preferably in a regulated environment.
