job detailsWe are seeking a motivated and skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our Maintenance Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with hydraulics, basic electricity, and the ability to perform preventive maintenance on a wide variety of machines. This role involves hands-on equipment repair, troubleshooting, and collaboration with other maintenance personnel to ensure smooth operations.

High school diploma or GED required.

Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity are essential for success in this role.

Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

Physical requirements include the ability to climb ladders, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform tasks involving standing, bending, crouching, and climbing multiple times per day.

Good physical condition and agility are necessary for performing job duties.

Disassemble equipment using tools such as wrenches to repair or replace necessary parts.

Test and assess damaged machine components to determine if major repairs are needed.

Apply knowledge of hydraulics and basic electrical systems in repair tasks.

Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

Work closely with other maintenance personnel to troubleshoot and resolve machine issues.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to understand machine functions and repair procedures.

Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
