We have an exciting opportunity available for a Transportation Engineer/Project Manager in our Corporate Headquarters office in downtown Milwaukee located in The Avenue. Transportation Engineer/Project Manager responsibilities include:
Project oversight including setting priorities and developing objectives, project financial management as well as hands-on involvement in the design process.
The ability to serve as a technical resource for a multi-disciplined team.
Project engineering and management.
Business development activities including proposal preparation, project interviews/presentations, and client management.
Professional society involvement.
We are considering candidates for our Transportation Engineer/Project Manager position who possess the following minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum of 8 years of practical design experience in transportation engineering, highway design, and local street design. Candidates with additional experience are encouraged to apply.
Knowledge of WisDOT design and standards is highly preferred.
PE license in WI.
Experience in business development and project development processes, including marketing activities, client development, project tracking and proposal development.
Project Management experience with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation a plus.
Good communication skills and a proven track record in successfully interacting with clients and internal team members is necessary.
Experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D software is a significant advantage.
