Job SummaryAs a leasing consultant, the individual has a responsibility of marketing as it pertains to interfacing with prospective residents at the community. In addition to marketing Latitude Residentials properties to prospects, the individual will be handling day - to - day issues with current residents and coordinating the renewals of existing leases.ResponsibilitiesLeasing:Effectively lease available apartment homes and work to achievepersonal leasing goals.Maintain thorough knowledge of the property and its competitors.Communicate conditions or other concerns which might impactthe community.Maintain guest card and enter information into the property management software.Thoroughly maintain appearance of the leasing office, vacant apartments, and overall curb appeal of community to ensure that it is inviting to prospective residents.Provide excellent customer service to visitors, current residents, and prospective residents.Resident Relations:Develop and maintain first class customer service relationships with prospects by serving individuals through quick and courteous responses, as well as treating others in a respectful manner at all times.Manage and resolve resident concerns.Monitor work orders to ensure that there are none outstanding and consistently communicate with maintenance until the work orders are completed.Notify residents of renewal expirations in a timely manner by providing consistent reminders.Maintain and ensure that all residents have active renters insurance policies.Administrative:Organize files and lease paperwork in a neat manner.Assist in tasks such as answering phones, taking messages, sending emails, and filing paper work.Administrative (continued):Prepare and be thoroughly knowledgeable with all lease related paperwork, from application to move out.o This includes, but not limited to, processing applications, action letters, welcome letters, lease paperwork, lease files, renewal letters, renewal leases, notices to vacate acknowledge letters, and move - out inspection forms.Required Skills, Knowledge, and Equipment:Strong attention to detailPresent a professional appearance at all timesTeam - oriented with ability to work independently as neededComputer skills, Microsoft Word, and knowledge of Internet and emailEmployee must maintain reliable transportation daily, possess a valid drivers license, and have vehicle insurance.All employees are expected to do whatever is necessary, within Latitude Residentials standards to make the company successful.
