CTT Instructor/Office Assistant
Conducts and manages career technical training. Performs professional level instruction to students enrolled in Career Technical programs. Also responsible for instructing social skills, employability skills, applied academics and project-based learning. Less than 15% AWOLLess than 2% absencesStaff will take appropriate attendanceClassroom Management as evidenced by # of classroom incidentsActive trainee engagement – monitored by classroom observationLesson PlanningMaintain accurate attendance records/hourly/per class periodDemonstrates the ability to manage the classroom environment and classroom discipline for effective learningDemonstrates full knowledge of competency-based instruction, computer assigned instruction, cooperative learning techniquesActively participates in weekly center team meetingsActively participates in departmental and all staff meetingsCompletes required staff training in a timely mannerReports directly to departmental managerModel, mentor, monitor appropriate work place behaviorCompletes weekly reports as requiredBasic computer skills are required, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Work and ExcelEnsuring clean and safe work environmentParticipates in active shooter and fire drillsDelivers necessary accommodations to studentsOperates in accordance with the requirements of the PRH, Standard Operating Procedures in function area and corporate policiesEvaluates and records student progress/evaluations and case notes in CIS, where appropriateDelivers quality customer service to studentsAssists with student retention Maintains lesson plans relevant to course materialFacilitates communication with center departmentsEmploys activities which offer CSS and employability skills building opportunities for studentsAssists with job placement, military, college, and post-secondary educationTracks all statistics pertaining to the CTT-10 ReportAligns curriculum with Industry Standards and Training Achievement Record Develops industry partnerships that could lead to work based learning, internships, and job placement outcomes Assists students in obtaining primary and secondary credentials Coordinates and participates with academic department for integrated learning opportunities Updates electronic Training Achievement Record (eTAR) at a minimum bi-weekly Provides innovative, creative and engaging training to the students
