As we ramp up, the work will be sporadic and flexible, focused on fulfilling wholesale and consumer pre-orders. Over time, the role will become more structured and steady as the business stabilizes. We’re looking for someone who can embrace the early-stage excitement of a start-up and grow with us as we evolve.

Key Responsibilities

Back-office: Take initiative to manage and optimize inventory systems, including software and spreadsheets, to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Pick, pack, label, and ship orders for both wholesale and consumer customers with minimal supervision.

Be ready to jump in during key pre-order periods and adapt to periods of slower activity.

Support order fulfillment for wholesale and retail customers, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

Provide excellent customer service through prompt communication and proactive issue resolution.

Lead the organization and maintenance of stock and shipping areas, ensuring an efficient and clean workspace.

Proactively identify opportunities to improve workflow and processes, collaborating with team members to implement solutions.

Use a company vehicle or personal vehicle (if required) to assist with deliveries, pickups, and other related tasks.

Take ownership of order management using a platform like Shopify, ensuring timely fulfillment and clear communication with customers.

Utilize a platform like Ship Pirate to generate shipping labels, track packages, and resolve shipping issues with minimal oversight.

Requirements

Valid Driver’s License: Required for deliveries, pickups, and other tasks that may involve driving.

Experience with platforms like Shopify and Ship Pirate: Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and shipping software is required.

Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks independently.

Comfortable working with spreadsheets - there will be a test.

Ability to lift and move packages as needed for shipping tasks.

Strong customer service skills and proactive communication abilities.

Flexible and adaptable to sporadic work demands, with the potential for more consistent work as the business grows.

Self-motivated and adaptable in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
