Job Summary

A Landscape Laborer is responsible for executing landscaping tasks that enhance the aesthetic appeal and functionality of outdoor spaces. This role involves physical labor, working with landscaping tools, and performing various outdoor tasks to maintain and improve properties such as parks, gardens, and commercial or residential landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

Plant and maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, and grass to enhance outdoor spaces.

Perform lawn care tasks, including mowing, edging, trimming, and weeding.

Install sod, mulch, and other ground covers to improve property aesthetics.

Assist with building hardscape elements, such as patios, retaining walls, and walkways.

Remove debris, including leaves, branches, and trash, from worksites.

Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment, ensuring safety and functionality.

Apply fertilizers, pesticides, or other treatments as directed.

Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

For Landscaping Drivers: Safely transport materials, equipment, and crew to and from job sites.

Requirements

Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Basic knowledge of landscaping tools, equipment, and techniques (training provided as needed).

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Reliable transportation to job sites or designated meeting points.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.

Prior experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred but not required.

Commitment to maintaining safety protocols and proper tool usage.

For drivers: A valid drivers license with clean driving record is required
