Stationary Engineer
Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for our newly acquired Houston branch. The ideal candidate will work on industrial laundry equipment and must possess a Stationary Engineer 1st or 2nd Grade License or meet the requirements to obtain it to work on boilers in the city of Houston. This role involves working on washers (Tunnel Washer), dryers, flat work ironers, control boards/panels, boiler steam tunnel PM/repair, cleaning, and troubleshooting of electrical and hydraulic systems.Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and repair on industrial laundry equipment including washers, dryers, and flat work ironers.
Troubleshoot and repair control boards/panels, boiler steam tunnels, and valves.
Conduct preventive maintenance on boilers and other equipment.
Clean and maintain equipment to ensure optimal operation.
Work closely with a helper and other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Essential Skills
Possess a Stationary Engineer 1st or 2nd Grade License or meet the requirements to obtain it.
5+ years of experience working on washers, dryers, open tunnels, boilers, and hydraulics.
Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on industrial laundry equipment.
Own tools necessary for maintenance tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in hotel maintenance, hospital maintenance, or bakery maintenance is preferred.
Strong understanding of boiler maintenance and repair.

The maintenance team consists of one technician and a helper, working closely with a team of 60-65 people including assemblers, drivers, sorters, finishers, folders, packers, and loaders. The shift runs from 6am to 4:30pm with overtime and weekend work as needed. For part-time roles, work will be less than 40 hours per week to supplement for a few months. The dress code includes steel-toed boots, jeans, and a work shirt.
