Maintenance Technician
Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionYou will be responsible for completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic components, conveyor systems, and production machines. This involves following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications, as well as troubleshooting malfunctions. You will also learn about automated pallet wrappers, including setup and preventive maintenance, and eventually, after thorough training, perform troubleshooting duties on all food and wrapping equipment.Responsibilities
Complete preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic components, conveyor systems, and production machines.
Follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications.
Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform repairs.
Learn about and perform preventive maintenance on automated pallet wrappers.
Perform troubleshooting duties on all food and wrapping equipment after training.
Participate in thorough training, including rotating shadow through each department and room.
Essential Skills
3 years of maintenance repairs and preventive maintenance on production equipment.
Experience with hand tools and blueprint reading.
Experience working through a maintenance work order system.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in the food or pharmaceutical industry (packaging experience is also considered).
High proficiency in electrical repairs.

Employees must wear lab coats, hairnets/beard nets, safety glasses, and sanitize every time they leave the production floor. The role involves working nights, with shifts from 5 PM to 5:30 AM, either from Sunday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday. There are also 10-hour shifts available, working six days a week with Sundays off, from 7 PM to 5 AM. Training will be conducted on the first shift for at least 30 days (5 AM to 5:30 PM). Employees work an average of 60 hours per week. The facility is relatively climate-controlled, though some areas can be hot, while the packaging side is cooler. The environment is well-lit and ventilated, though it can get dusty with starch from gummies. Employees must dress in GMP attire provided by the company, with jeans and a t-shirt underneath.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $33.75Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
