Let us be the best place you'll ever work.As an Operations Support Specialist, you will support short-term site needs at vacant or underperforming fulfillment center warehouse locations. You will partner with fulfillment operations leaders and store operations counterparts to help deliver best-in-class performance across critical Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Acting as a Supply Chain Process subject matter expert (SME), you will assist in implementing best practices and processes that cascade down from the region.To be successful, the Operations Support Specialist must identify key opportunities to drive results and effectively support the implementation of suggestions for success. You will help implement Safelite's best practices and processes and continually surface new ideas and approaches to leadership.What you will doSupport the development of action plans in partnership with site leadership to achieve and sustain critical business outcomes (i.e., Safety, engagement, productivity, Inventory management, customer experience, cost optimization, and product care) at selected sites.Execute best practices and assist with identifying opportunities for standardization within the site.Support process rollouts as needed and reinforce standard operating procedures (SOP) to ensure compliance.Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational goals are met.Assist in communicating the strategy for the FC warehouse and support actions needed to drive results.Assist in communicating the strategy for the FC Warehouse and support the implementation of necessary actions. Provide feedback and suggestions to improve strategic initiativesEnsure the quality of the product received is fit for purpose by conducting regular inspections and audits.Address any quality issues promptly and work with relevant teams to resolve them.Ensure Federal, State, and Local regulations (e.g., OSHA, CDL, DOT, and MHE) are being followed in all fulfillment centers and fulfillment warehouses.Proactively identify risk behaviors and support coaching/training in conjunction with site leadership.Promote safety-first culture by leading by example and ensuring that all operations prioritize safety.What you will needBachelor's Degree Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain Preferred1-3 years Supply Chain or relevant experience Required1-3 years People leadership experience Required1-3 years Supply Chain People Leadership experience Preferred1-3 years Kaizen, 5S, Lean Six Sigma Preferred1-3 years High Jump / Koerber experience PreferredAbility to occasionally lift windshields, up to 35 poundsTravel up to 75%Change Management – Communicates change and the reasons for change effectively.Data Analysis-Utilize spreadsheets and reporting tools to identify and address underperformance in the fulfillment center.
