Maintenance Technician

SUMMARY:  The candidate will be responsible for working on a wide range of projects and repairs on production and facility related equipment, while maintaining a clean & safe work environment. Hours 6:00 am - 2:30 pm Monday - Friday, overtime is based on production demands and if needed it would be scheduled for Friday and possibly Saturday.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Promote safe work practices by following company safety policies.Maintain a clean work area and promote company 5S policies. Perform electrical and mechanical repairs as well as PM’s on equipment and facilitiesIdentify root causes of maintenance downtime and implement corrective actions to prevent downtime.Order repair parts for maintenance repairs to equipment and facilities.Identify critical parts and make recommendations on additional spare parts inventory.QUALIFICATIONS:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
