We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Analyst with a strong focus on leveraging an AWS-based marketing technology stack to drive data-driven strategies and improve campaign performance. This role combines marketing and business expertise with technical proficiency in analytics and predictive modeling. 1stMILE is a financial technology company that delivers a consumer driven commerce platform connecting consumers, their cars, and repair shops, streamlining commerce.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and interpret marketing data to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights that inform strategy and execution.

Develop and implement predictive models to forecast campaign performance and customer behavior.

Design and maintain marketing performance dashboards using AWS QuickSight to track KPIs, monitor trends, and evaluate success.

Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to align data-driven strategies with business objectives.

Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of marketing data within the AWS ecosystem.

Streamline data collection, integration, and analysis processes across AWS-based tools and platforms.

Create customer segmentation models to support campaign personalization and improve targeting.

Evaluate campaign performance and recommend optimizations to maximize ROI and marketing effectiveness.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.

4+ years of experience in marketing analytics, data-driven marketing, or similar roles.

Technical Skills:

Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience in data analysis, modeling, and visualization.

Proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python or R.

Experience working with AWS-based analytics and data solutions, including AWS QuickSight, AWS Glue, Amazon Redshift, and S3.

Ability to interpret complex datasets and present insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Strong communication and presentation skills to explain insights and recommendations clearly.

Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with marketing tools integrated into AWS environments, such as Amazon Pinpoint (campaign execution) and AWS Personalize (recommendation systems).

Familiarity with AWS-based machine learning services like SageMaker for predictive analytics.

Knowledge of marketing platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign, or HubSpot, particularly in AWS-integrated contexts.

Exposure to content management systems (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress) with AWS back-end integrations.

Understanding of data integration tools like AWS Glue or Segment for unifying customer data across systems.

Awareness of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and privacy management tools like OneTrust.

Physical characteristics— ability to sit, stand, bend, lift no more than 50lbs, talk, hear, type, read printed material, utilize a computer and professionally communicate over the telephone.

Environmental factors—working conditions inside the office with moderate noise levels, occasional telecommuting via VP approval, travel less than 10%.

Working conditions – regular business hours within a weekday hybrid schedule, situational holidays & weekends as necessary to meet business needs.
