If so, we invite you to explore our Corrections Mail Inspector role, where you will be the front line for managing all incoming and outgoing mail at SCI-Albion. DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Corrections Mail Inspector within the Department of Corrections, your duties will include the meticulous management of both incoming and outgoing mail. This role entails the opening and inspection of inmate correspondence and packages to thwart the flow of contraband materials, as well as the coordination of item delivery with different institutional departments such as libraries and chapels. Additionally, you will be responsible for the distribution of publications, magazines, and packages to the state correctional facility. Interested in learning more? Full-time employment

Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Two years of clerical experience, including one year in the field of corrections; or

Any combination of experience and/or training which provides the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.

Additional Requirements:

You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:

You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
