THE POSITIONDo you want your technical skills to support a program that helps education professionals expand their potential? The Pennsylvania Inspired Leadership (PIL) Program is a statewide, standards-based continuing professional education program that is focused on developing the capacity of leaders to improve student achievement. Join our team as a Technical Assistant and help us ensure that the Commonwealth's education professionals have the knowledge and skills they need to ensure that every learner has access to a world-class education system! DESCRIPTION OF WORKIn this position, you will provide technical assistance and support for the Pennsylvania Inspired Leadership (PIL) Program. You will be responsible for assisting with evaluation form creation and data collection and analysis, maintaining the Act 45 website, monitoring the Act 45 resource account, and arranging for participant make-up sessions. This includes working directly with participants to resolve any technical issues, coordinating support for program partners in the field, and potentially traveling to professional conferences. You will also assist in policy or procedure development by drafting procedural changes and recommending improvements, assist with interpreting and maintaining policy and guidelines, and perform other duties as needed with the Pennsylvania Department of Education's Division of Planning and Professional Development staff. Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. This position currently works in the office one day per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Three years of advanced clerical or para-professional work which included the collection, recording, compilation, and presentation of office management or program related information;or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training. An Associate's Degree may be substituted for two years of required experience.
