Job Title: Beermonger & Beverage Specialist Location: Quincy Hall, Arlington, VA Employment Type: Full-Time About Us: Quincy Hall is a lively pizza & beer bar in Arlington, VA, known for its vibrant atmosphere, creative menu, and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences. We take pride in offering an extensive and thoughtfully curated beverage program, highlighting the best of Virginia, Maryland, and regional craft beers, as well as fine wines and premium spirits. We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Beermonger & Beverage Specialist to manage and elevate our beer, wine, and alcohol program, creating a dynamic experience for our guests. Responsibilities: Curate and manage a diverse beer selection, with a strong focus on Virginia, Maryland, and regional craft breweries. Build relationships with local breweries, wineries, and distilleries to source unique offerings and collaborations. Develop and maintain a rotating beer, wine, and cocktail list that reflects seasonality and current trends. Educate staff and guests about beer, wine, and spirits, including styles, production methods, and pairing suggestions. Plan and execute beverage-focused events, such as tastings, tap takeovers, and pairing dinners. Collaborate with bartenders to develop innovative and balanced cocktails featuring regional spirits. Ensure proper storage, handling, and presentation of all beer, wine, and spirits inventory. Work with the kitchen team to create food pairings for the beverage program. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging breweries, wineries, and distilleries in the region. Qualifications: Proven experience in beverage curation, bartending, or beverage program management, with a strong focus on beer, wine, and spirits. Deep knowledge of Virginia, Maryland, and regional craft beer, wine, and distillery scenes. Excellent communication skills and a passion for sharing beverage knowledge with staff and guests. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to lift and handle kegs, cases of wine, and other beverage-related equipment as needed.
