Licensed, Female Caregiver Wanted
Aloha,
We are looking for a licensed (CNA, HHA, RN, LPN, RT, PT, OT) to be my 74-y.o. wife's caregiver either on a daily basis or as a live-in in a private home in Kamuela. We'll be returning to Seattle in May for six months, and if you become a live in caregiver, we'd like you to accompany us there too before returning back here next November for another 6 months.
My wife is an MD who sustained a TBI in a bike accident 10 years ago. She's fighting hard to regain her function and get her medical license back so she can continue to serve the public. Wheelchair-bound, though can weight bear and does standing-pivoting transfers. She works out with a personal trainer everyday on land and in the water. Great attitude, optimistic for her recovery.
You would be on duty from 6 am to 8 pm daily. Once in a great while you'd need to help with toileting after hours, but that would be rare. One or two days off per week, if you want it. Because of the nature of this job, my modest wife prefers a female caregiver.
If you would be interested in this position, please email your references and contact information.
Mahalo plenty,
Richard, husband
