Do you like to work with people? If so than we have the job for you. We are a local cab company looking for an energetic Dispatcher to help schedule and dispatch drivers to passengers and to ensure their experience is positive, while providing exceptional customer service. This is a great part time job for a retiree, looking to get out of the house a few days.

DISPATCHER FUNCTIONS

Answer multi line phone system and receive customer requests for transportation.

Schedule and dispatch drivers to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, or needs, using radios or telephones.

Relay work orders, messages and information to and from drivers using radios or telephones.

Monitor drivers and vehicle locations and coordinate service and schedules using tracking technology on our computer system.

Responsible for cashing out all drivers at the end of the shift.

Responsible for ensuring that all vehicles are returned at the end of a shift.

Communicate with on duty mechanic with any issues regarding vehicles.

Paid Training

REQUIREMENTS

Must be knowledgeable of the Monroe County area

A + if knowledgeable of surrounding areas

A + Valid Driver’s License

Must have excellent interpersonal skills

Attention to details

Computer skills

Telephone Skills

Written and Verbal Communication skills

Must be able to sit for long periods of time

SALARY NEGOTIABLE DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
