Driver Needed

Mid American Operating Company,

Looking for a knowledgeable & skilled Truck driver. Must have experience in running either step deck (loading equipment) or winch truck.

minimum 5 years experience with 3 of which being in step deck freight or winch truck work. In this industry attention to detail is imperative.

We are looking for someone willing to expand their knowledge in the trade and improve their safety and daily efficiencies. You must understand this is not a MONDAY-FRIDAY 9-5 job. Some weekends and some over nights are required.

Must be willing to go out of town when needed

Tasks and duties will include:

carrying out routine thorough vehicle and equipment checks,

making sure that the load is correctly placed and is secure

properly loading and securing equipment

driving loaded vehicles to the customer location.

maintaining a log book with details of trips,

customer service.

Read and comprehend permits for oversized loads

To successfully secure this opportunity, you must:

have at least 5 years of class A truck-driving experience

clean Driving record

be reliable, punctual and self-motivated

have a great attitude and strong work ethic

be capable and confident in your ability

Pay is based on experience.
