Job Title: Full-Time Caregiver/Companion for Adult Male with Autism

Location: East 170th St & Morris Avenue , Bronx, NY 10456

Hours: 32 hours per week (11:00 AM – 7:00 PM,)

Compensation: $23–$28 per hour, based on the specific activities performed each day.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and reliable female caregiver/respite to assist a 34-year-old man with autism in his daily activities. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for the client, promoting his well-being and quality of life.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist with daily activities

Support the client in various community outings (e.g., visits to the zoo and park).

Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the client.

Perform light housekeeping and organizational tasks, including tidying the client’s room.

Offer companionship and emotional support, ensuring a positive and engaging environment.

Complete mandatory online training (5 hours).

Qualifications:

Must have a clean background check (fingerprint screening required).

Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and connect effectively.

Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to providing stable and reliable care.
