Baseball Coach - Middle School Season
JOB SUMMARY
The West End Baseball Team is seeking a Head Baseball Coach to lead practice and games for players of all skill levels. The ideal candidate will have a passion not only for teaching the fundamentals of baseball but has the ability to inspire and motivate young athletes.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance players' skills and performance with focus on skill development.
- Instruct players on proper techniques, strategies, and game rules
- Plan and conduct engaging practice sessions focusing on teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill development
- Evaluate players' progress and provide constructive feedback for improvement
- Assist with coordination of team activities, including games, tournaments, and events
- Ensure a safe and positive environment for all players
QUALIFICATIONS
- Player-High School and college playing experience preferred. Experience playing beyond college is a bonus.
- Coach-Previous coaching experience at 14U level or above preferred.
- Ability to manage player behavior effectively
- Knowledge of baseball rules, strategies, and techniques
- Patience for players of all skill levels and the ability to compassionately challenge players
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
TIMING
-February 3rd, 2025 - Practice begins
-March-April. Games will begin the 1st weekend of March and continue through April. Season concludes at the end of April.
-Practice/Games-4 days per week with each week averaging 2 games per week. Practice would be after school starting around 4 pm. Weekday games will typically start around 5 and take place around Nashville. Some weekend games or tournaments should be expected.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $3,000.00 per year
