Central Motors is a busy Rt 9 used vehicle dealer and AAA certified service center. We currently have a opening available for a experienced or beginner Automotive Technician. All levels encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities:

Repair and service all types of vehicles including Asian and German models.

Hours:

Monday - Friday

No weekends

Automobile Technician Mechanic Job Duties:

Work alongside of ASE Master Technician

Keeps work area and tools clean and organized

Completing preventive maintenance such as, engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, replacing filters

Maintains vehicle functional condition by listening to customer concerns; conducting inspections; repairing engine failures; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components; repairing body damage

Verifies customer concerns by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems

Maintains vehicle records by recording service and repairs

Maintains shop equipment and inventory, reports to management

Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications

Accomplishes maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed

Automobile Technician Mechanic Skills and Qualifications:

Must have own tools

Clean Drivers License

2 + years experience

Nonsmoker preferred
