Southgate Lock & Security is a well-established and reputable locksmith company serving the Cleveland area. We are looking for a motivated individual to learn the art of locksmithing from experienced professionals. This is a fantastic opportunity to start a rewarding career in a growing industry.

Responsibilities (as training progresses):

Assisting experienced locksmiths on job sites.

Learning key cutting, lock picking, and lock repair techniques.

Installing and repairing various types of locks and security hardware.

Maintaining tools and equipment.

Providing excellent customer service.

Learning about access control systems and other security technologies.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to pass a background check.

Preferred (but not required):

Previous experience in a related trade (e.g., carpentry, mechanics).

Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
