IMMEDIATE HIRING: Armed Security Officer - Full-time.

POSITION: Armed Security Officer - Full-time.

LOCATION: Retail environment in the City of Dallas, Deep Ellum Area.

HOURS: Monday (1pm – 10pm), Tuesday (6pm – 10pm), Friday through Sunday (12pm – 10pm). WEEKENDS REQUIRED.

JOB TITLE: Armed Security Officer

HOURLY RATE RANGE: $25 - $27, based on qualification and experience.

Responsibilities:

Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence or infractions of rules.

Thoroughly examine doors, windows and gates to ensure proper function and security.

Ensure the safety of all employees and customers.

Warn violators of premise rules and regulations.

Escort or expel unwanted visitors engaging in suspicious or criminal acts.

Report any facility issues or emergencies.

Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations.

Management of guest entering the store including directing guest to check in large bags to from theft.

Monitor the store to ensure guests and employees have a safe shopping experience.

Interaction with clients, employees, visitors and public safety officials.

Qualifications:

Valid Texas Department of Public Safety Level III Commissioned Security Officer license.

Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military or other related fields.

Ability to read and write English effectively.

Ability to stand for an extended period.

Overall sharp presentation. Good hygiene and grooming standards.

Ability to take instructions and adhere to rules and policies.

Familiarity with security equipment.

Ability to handle physical workload.

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to de-escalate volatile situations.

Reliable method of transportation.

Excellent customer service.

Must be able to multitask.
