Job Overview:

This is a part-time position requiring 5-7 days per week, depending on your availability. Work hours range from a few hours on some days to 4-6 hours on others, based on weather and other commitments.

For qualified candidates, this position offers an optional beautiful fully furnished studio above the barn as housing for up to two people.

Workday Start Time: 9:00 AM or earlier.

Pay Rate: $25/hour or equivalent.

Start Date: To be determined.

We are seeking a dependable, neat, and organized individual with proven hands-on experience in horse care, estate maintenance, and handy work. Accountability and reliability are critical for this role. The owner sets high standards of responsibility, timeliness, and quality and expects the same in return.

Job Responsibilities:

Daily Horse Care:

Feed, clean, and rack stalls.

Grooming and hooves.

Administer medication if necessary.

Care for three well-maintained horses.

Daily Estate Maintenance:

Clean and maintain the swimming pool.

Collect mail, burn boxes, keep trash area neat.

Handle minor tenant repairs.

Blow, mow, and prune as needed.

Ranch Upkeep:

Maintain hot wires and occasional repair fence posts.

Perform light carpentry and painting.

Complete other handy work as required.
