Youre a positive influence who will contribute to a harmonious teamwork culture and represent the City of Raleigh well in your public-facing role.About Us:Transportation Downtown Services core mission is to ensure Downtown Raleighs public spaces and right of way are clean, safe and aesthetically pleasing, providing a high level of customer service 7 days a week. As essential employees, extended hours and days are required during special events, seasonal maintenance responsibilities and weather-related or emergency responses.Duties and ResponsibilitiesRemoving litter, small graffiti and stickersSeasonal power washing, loose leaf collection, weeding, storm recovery efforts, and snow and ice removalSpecial Events barrier placement and prep/coverage/cleanupBiohazards response to human and pet waste or other bodily fluids (proper protection, resources and training provided)Note:

Valid North Carolina Class C Drivers license with a satisfactory driving record, or the ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
