Art Gallery Seeks Commissioned Outside Sales Person
Illinois, Chicago , 60601 Chicago USA

Emerging Art Gallery in Lakeview / Roscoe Village / Lincoln Park area seeks an outgoing (outside) sales / marketing rep to attract buyers / collectors into the gallery, plus blow up our social media and internet presence.

Even better if you have internet / SEO + photo & video editing skills. Not required, but definitely useful for creating reels and whatnot on FB, IG, YouTube, etc.

The gallery carries works from over 25 artists, plus the gallery owner is an artist as well, making metal sculpture, jewelry, photography, etc.

Items you'll be selling include Paintings, Drawings, Photography, Furniture, Slate Tile Art, Metal Sculpture, Wire Art, Jewelry, "NRG" tools like Pendulums, which can double as pendants, even some pretty radical rags by one of our resident clothing artists.

We'd also like to start doing classes & workshops at the gallery, so you'd get paid to find other artists to teach art classes, plus reiki practitioners, crystal bowl meditation practitioners, yoga instructors, etc. to rent space for classes / workshops.

We're also interested in using the gallery space as a wedding / event venue, so there's another opportunity to excel.

The sky is the limit here. We are relatively new, just celebrating our 1 year anniversary, so this is a literal GROUND FLOOR OPPORTUNITY for someone with "vision" to come in and make things happen.

As the gallery owner, I'm "itching" to get back into my workshop and start creating again, as my creative side has taken a backseat to doing everything you'll be doing.

Please DON'T send me your resume until we've spoken. Doesn't matter if you're a man or woman, young or old, near or far, (residing in Chicago area would be preferred of course), IF you think you can market / sell art and everything else mentioned, let's talk.

Also, if you're an established artist(s) with a following, which means a large social media presence, an email list and lots of people that are buying your stuff now and in the past, and want to do an exhibition at the gallery, let's talk.

Again, don't send me a resume, but please just email me your name and phone number to start.

Anyone sending me a resume either didn't read the entire ad, or ignored my request, and will be completely ignored as well. Happy "job" Hunting. Remember, do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life.

Me? I've been "working" for the past year, and now it's time for me to get back into my studio
