This is a great opportunity for highly motivated engineers with good communication and problem-solving skills to build on your career while helping address the region’s key environmental and engineering challenges.The job responsibilities for the position will include, but are not limited to:Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.Supports AECOM projects in the areas of contaminated sediments, soil and groundwater remediation, environmental compliance, regenerative remediation and sustainability.Works with senior level staff to provide technical analysis and deliverables for current and prospective clients for remedial investigations, feasibility studies, remedial design, remedial action, fate and transport modeling, innovative sampling approaches, etc.Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures. Plans and directs field activities for data collection.Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations, preparing engineering drawings, specifications, and report writing.Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered.Identifies discrepancies in results.Performs field oversight of remediation activities and maintains positive working relationships with client contacts, suppliers, contractors, engineering consultants, academia, and external agencies.Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision.
