Full Charge Bookkeeper
Description
Manages all day-to-day financial operations and accounting tasks
Responsible for journal entries to financial statement preparation
Handles general ledger, cash management, and bank reconciliations
Processes payroll and handles company deposits
Generates financial statements and manages the balance sheet
Proficient in accounting software and has strong mathematical skills
Understands Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to maintain confidentiality in handling financial information
Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field typically required
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
Proven work experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet programs
In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Attention to detail and accuracy in work
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in QuickBooks and Excel required.
